This is the time of year when many people reflect on the past year’s successes and failures, when they set out their goals for the twelve months ahead. I’m no different, but as each year passes and more lie behind me than before, I refuse to let my dreams be weighed down by regrets, have their wings clipped because they seem too hard to achieve. Persistence, resilience and getting up, dusting myself off and starting all over again are the order of the day. Oh, and a heart full of thankfulness for all the things that make my life wonderful and my dreams worth working for.
Whatever you set your sights on in the coming months:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Traditional Gaelic Blessing
Thank you to everyone who has travelled with me so far as I pursue my dreams, sharing a little about them along the way. Here’s hoping we meet many times in the coming year as we learn from and encourage one another.
